In 1999, he was presented with the Practice of Excellence Award for his track record of providing quality healthcare services to people in underserved communities.
Without Dr. Freundlich, remote areas of Newfoundland would have been without a doctor. Meaning many families would have gone without the necessary care they needed to live and thrive.
